About This Collection

This season is about fairies in neon lights… with light and airy organza and tulle, set amongst bright neon colours of fucshia pinks and electric yellows…signature ruffles continue…mixing romantic feather light tulle together with slightly structured jerseys… with sparkles of glittery spots printed on jersey pants….accented with a harder and edgier angular print inspired by structure of the body…

It is also about playing with different textures, as Johanna was inspired by American multi-media artist, Nick Cave, who is known for his series of costume sculptures that are created from recycled and handmade materials. And an ongoing love of handicraft, hand knits and hand crochet details. This is mixed with an inspiration from sportswear…using sports inspired jerseys/fabrics…adding a modern twist to the soft and feminine shapes.
